    Sadly I must give this a one-star maximum rating. I like the author’s enthusiasm and conversational tone, but seriously, that’s ALL the book has going for it. There is no structured ‘plan’ as referenced. Rather, it is a collection of recipes which you could probably find on the internet prefaced by a short introduction on the Atkin’s Nutritional Approach which mimics most every other piece of material already written by Atkins or others in regard to the Atkin’s Nutritional Approach.

    In addition, the writing is downright atrocious. Clipped words, phrases and incomprehensible sentence structure (at times) makes it a chore to read.

    A little more care and a LOT more research could have made this one a winner and not a nitrate filled wiener. :/
