The Prenatal Vitamins by Best Nest Wellness arrived in a standard small Amazon box. The bottle was cushioned with air pillows.

First off, the bottle itself is absolutely gorgeous! Birds, flowering branches, eggs nestled in a nest. The bottle lists all the supplemental facts for each tablet.

The multivitamin is 100% natural, physician-formulated made with organic herbs, fresh ginger, probiotics, and whole food-based vitamins and minerals. No sugar, no soy, no gluten, no preservatives or artificial colors or flavors. These tablets look and smell very natural.

I received a discount in exchange for providing my honest review.

ONLY vitamin w/AVAILABLE nutrients at this level and range, July 18, 2015

I see that this product got a lot of 5 stars. Seems like most products would get some 4s in there, but after researching, getting, and using this product I can see exactly why everyone is giving it 5 stars. Not only is this the best product I’ve ever seen, it’s the ONLY product THE ONLY product like this on the market.

I am a heavy researcher when it comes to products like this. Before taking the BEST vitamin from Best Nest Wellness, I wouldn’t even consider taking a mutli or prenatal vitamin because their very makeup defeats the actual purpose of taking them. Most vitamins, even the ones that sound great — organic, raw, etc. — don’t have this level of quality. There is just not any other product with this level of nutrient density ***that is also bioavailable.*** When you know better, you do better. And now I know better.

Aside from NOT including all the things that most multi and prenatal vitamins do, they DO include the things that I really need, not just to prepare my body for the third child I am wanting to conceive in the future but to heal my gut and nourish my whole body in a way that is actually healthy.

Many people don’t realize there’s a problem with folic acid because as women we’re told that’s the way to go.

I have been avoiding EVERY OTHER vitamin because they don’t consider/have the things this vitamin does like:

    1. methyfolate — don’t want to get into the rabbit hole of info, but this is ABSOLUTELY KEY for the methylation process, which is vital for most major functions in the body, folks who have MTHFR issues, gut issues, skin problems, inflammation, chronic pain….this is needed and hard to find outside of consuming massive amounts of fresh, uncooked greens (to the order of 3 x day and that’s hard for me to fit in as I would like).

    2. methylcobamin — vitamin B12, another vital and tricky to get nutrient — deficiency is related to Chron’s, celiac/wheat sensitivity, gastritis, lupus and reflux that gets people popping TUMS all day.

    3. probiotics — if we don’t have the gut bacteria then we are not getting any nutrients. Other multi and especially prenatal vitamins completely overlook this and pack in a bunch of non-bioavailable nutrients and then exclude probiotics on top of it.

So, after my research to find things wrong or missing in this product that would preclude me from taking this and finding it had everything I really wanted and was having trouble getting (in an bioavailable way), and after trying it for myself to see how it would really work in my day to day, I am super into this product. I was completely prepared to look into it and say, “yeah yeah, but I won’t be taking it.” Now I actually feel relief that I have a source that my body can assimilate because it helps me when my life is full and I’m not keeping up with the amount and type of foods that I need to when not taking a vitamin. Whew! A real relief….

What can I say? I know why it’s getting 5 stars, and I’m a raving fan. This is a ridiculously good product. And I agree with the other reviewer that I didn’t expect the bottle to be so aesthetically pleasing!

REALLY great ingredients! Easy to swallow, July 11, 2015

This is an AMAZING prenatal multi. I *almost* considered giving it a 4 because it’s a lot larger than I expected and smells a little bit weird, but I haven’t had any trouble whatsoever swallowing it, so 5 stars it is! I included a picture comparison of the tablet next to my thumb for comparison. It has a smooth texture despite its appearance and slips right down my throat.

I am 15 weeks pregnant and until now I hadn’t been taking a prenatal vitamin because none of them offered all the doses of things I need and it just seemed like one more pill to take. I love that this contains a good amount of vitamin D! The typical recommended dose of 400 IU is just not enough for most people, and of course that’s what most prenatals offer. I am also impressed that it uses methylated forms of the B vitamins. I saw some research a few months ago about how a large portion of the population has a gene mutation that doesn’t allow them to absorb non-methylated B vitamins. If you are part of that percentage, that means that folate that’s so important during the first trimester is not being absorbed into your blood stream or your baby!

The last thing that really sets this apart from other prenatal vitamins is the probiotic and enzyme blend. All of these aide in breaking down food to make it easier to digest, which can be such an issue for some during pregnancy. Some of the enzymes are also used in certain enzyme products that claim to help break down candida. If that is true, these enzymes could help to prevent yeast infections which can also be a problem for some during pregnancy (me unfortunately). I received this product to test in exchange for my honest opinion, and just reading through the ingredient list, I was so impressed that I needed to review immediately. I’m really excited about dropping a few of my supplements for this and adding the enzyme blend especially!
