    The recipes in this book are healthy and sound very good. I will be sure to try quite a few of them. The book is not perfect in that there are no photos, occasional typo or grammatical errors, and the table of contents is only interactive for the recipe category. Not a problem – I just highlight the recipes that interest me and voila – I have created my own table of contents. There are a lot of great sounding recipes, and that’s what really counts. Categories are salad, soup, main dish, and breakfast and dessert. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to cook healthy, not just midlifers.

    I was wondering about what an after-menopausal diet would look like to a person like me. I love food, and am a very brave and courageous eater. There are only a very few foods that I dislike. Nearly every recipe in this book is wonderful, very few were a “boo”. Ms. Grey has done herself proud.

    Typically “diet” books have recipes that are either unappealing or things you already know how to make. This one has some really tasty recipes that aren’t typical but very tasty. I really recommend it, menopausal or not

I’m stress free now! I love it.

    I’ve been reading about the Paleo diet for quite sometime now and I must say I am quite intrigued and sold by the idea. There are a lot of healthy options and advantages to the Paleo diet and I want to be able to explore what it means. I got this book from Alissa after a friend who has been experimenting with the Paleo diet encouraged me to try out her recipes. She has given her readers a wide range of recipes to choose from for all three meals of the day and there are even some that I can use for light snacks when my partner and I go on picnics during weekends. It’s a great book and one I really enjoyed browsing through. Can’t wait to start experimenting and cooking up a storm in the kitchen.

    What a delightful recipe book. This is filled with easy and common food you have on hand in your pantry and fridge. This takes you back to your roots and although I am not on the plan yet, I am starting soon. This makes is so easy to follow all the different recipes and know what works for you. The directions are really clear and easy to follow. Hard to believe its good for you too!
